People are confused, so they are willing to follow paternalistic authorities, but where these intellectual paternalists are, in turn, obedient to the narrow institutional dogmas, and subsequently (because these dogmas are narrow, and thus, limited in the range of their descriptive patterns), the (top) paternalists make these dogmas more complicated, and the dogmas (expanded by complications) but nonetheless, applied to patterns which are not describable within such a limited dogma (ie the patterns to which this dogma is applied are actually outside of the dogmatic-language’s limited ability to describe these patterns, in a logically, or quantitatively, consistent manner), are (therefore) placed in a frame of nonsense, which is subsequently, authoritatively proclaimed (as expressed by the top intellectual paternalists) to be “the only possible interpretation” in regard to these descriptively unreachable patterns (ie unreachable by the fixed dogma), and thus, this nonsense is presented as both an absolute truth of the empire’s superior intellectual-culture, and a deep mystery, to which only the intellectually superior beings (the superior few, as identified by institutional competitions) can fathom (effectively, the institutions shout-down and hide any challenges… as well as any alternative-ways… “in which to organize a precise language”… to their institutional authoritative dogmatic language)----

The organ transplant industry is not the positive new direction it is made out to be. While it claims to save lives, the practice also kills.

Cues and Clues to Murder for Organs

Anonymous, 25.01.2016 15:31

A hospital murder is a stealthy act. It is done smoothly and with the appearance of normality. It is done routinely.
Doctors and nurses receive a great deal of training in how to work as a group and minimize their sense of
personal guilt and regret. In this way, they are able to carry out murder for organs in a climate of impunity.

Branded at Birth

Anonymous, 25.01.2016 15:17

News items about accidents and misadventure tell the story. Nowadays, the victim never survives, and he is reported to have donated his organs. Eventually the media will ignore the issue altogether. They are complicit in making organ donation commonplace, and scarcely news.

What is the Public Interest?

Anonymous, 25.01.2016 14:47

The term “public interest” is misleading. Few people really understand why the term exists and what it is about. On
the face of it the words “public” and “interest” imply something democratic and dynamic. In reality, the notion of
“public interest” is a sinister philosophy designed to describe, at any time, the prevailing view on public
management by those in authority.

Marked for Murder at the University Health Network (Toronto)

Anonymous, 25.01.2016 12:43

The idea that murder happens in a hospital is one we would rather not contemplate. Most people die there,
apparently from natural causes, and the common belief is that hospitals are humane places where patients are
never harmed. We believe that hospital personnel wouldn’t work there if they weren’t suited to the task. We
believe that this task involves putting the sick person first and that nothing could ever violate this principle. We are
wrong.

Argentina: Macri's regime is annihilating freedom of expression

Nicky Clarksen, 15.01.2016 00:29

In Argentina, the neoliberal right-wing fundamentalist government of Mauricio Macri, a member of the local and international economic power that it represents, knows that to impose their measures and structural reforms of looting

the country for the benefit of big local and foreign capital, and the fit and impoverishment gradual for most of its people, you can not go for good, as is observed. Like military dictatorships, the first is to suppress and annihilate all

voices, not just dissidents (not just Kirchnerism), but to all those who publicly denounce the lies, distortions and concealment of information that makes authoritarian rule to force their plans for large corporations. The government

needs to have a single and unique voice, that of concentrated economic power (with the Clarin media group and La Nacion newspaper as emblems), you need to restore a single "common sense" (read the thought of the dominant

groups) in the population. Among the systematic succession of acts against freedom of the press in a month of government, the latter is the journalist and broadcaster Victor Hugo Morales, abruptly sacked from the radio station

where he worked for 30 years, under pressure from the government of Mauricio Macri. In Argentina, the virulence of the informative and social repression is much worse than expected, so far the offensive of global economic power is

brutal. The only limit to the adjustment is given by the reaction of the adjusted people.

Energy and geometry

m concoyle, 10.01.2016 06:57

To revolt from the empire one simply needs to get (many) people to say within themselves (based on their honest evaluation of truth) that they will follow some newly expressed (such as their own) ideas about physics and math (ie one’s own ideas, or another’s ideas, regardless of whose new ideas, this article is very educational concerning developing one’s own measurable description of existence, and it is a good beginning point for new knowledge about measurable descriptions, so that in relation to the geometric-quantitative descriptive context, as presented in this paper, any new measurable context can be related to new practical creative contexts, ie make your own context about creativity production and “jobs” in society), because, not only do the new ideas (as expressed in this paper) identify life as being more interesting than the viewpoint about life provided by the empire, but …--- (read on)

Revolutionizing Political Economic Analyses: A Review of Kola Ibrahim’s “Revolutionary Pen”

Abiodun S. Falodun, 08.01.2016 07:46

Revolutionary Pen Records of events are very important. They serve as not only historical documents but a guide for the future. The book, Revolutionary Pen has done it properly as it chronicles events of struggles of the working people, youth and the poor, that emanated in almost all facets of the encounters of the working masses and the society at large; at every serially and not seemingly ending periods of attacks by the state on them. It does not stop at reporting these events, but goes further to analyse the way forward the working masses and the society in general can take to end these state attacks and also to realise their own inherent political power, which can and only give them the panacea, to rebutting the system of oppression, and take charge of their patrimony.

Raising the Bar of Scholarship from the Left: A Review of ‘Boko Haram in Nigeria’ by Kola Ibrahim

Lawal Rafiu Adeniran (M.A Peace and Conflict Studies), 08.01.2016 07:27

Boko Haram in Nigeria As a testament to Samuel Huntington’s Clash of Civilisation theory, which is also manifesting in what Mary Kaldor describes as ‘new wars’, a new dimension of conflicts has established itself in International politics. These conflicts now come in form of armed insurgency, violent secessionist, ethno-religious conflicts etc. Africa, no doubt occupies an important seat in the theatre of war. In Nigeria, Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’ Awati Wal-Jihad popularly called Boko Haram has been responsible for the death of over 14,000 people (both combatants and civilians), displacement of over 1.5 million persons, destruction and loot of properties worth billions of naira, abduction of over 220 school girls from Chibok secondary school, bombings of several high profile institutions amongst others. With the Nigerian government and their International principals bereft of any practical solution on how to curb the menace, Kola Ibrahim’s work ‘Boko Haram in Nigeria: Historical and Political-Economic Exploration’ comes to their rescue.

Iraq: lessons learned from history

Heshmat Alavi, 05.01.2016 15:52

Haider al-Abadi assuming the post of the Prime Ministry in Iraq Nouri al-Maliki As the West began trusting al-Abadi and his reform campaign, a necessary reversal of a failed policy in Iraq had begun. However, this has shown to be non-sufficient in compensating for past mistakes, especially those made by the United States and its European allies in acceding to Iran's demands of backing Maliki for 8 years of atrocities in Iraq.
