TO THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA:

“THE REVOLUTION IS HERE!”

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! The Revolution has arrived! Michael Moore’s FARENHEIT 911 heralds in Hope for Good to Triumph over Evil – the People versus Global Corporatization. It is a call to Spirit to “Put Down Your Arms!” FARENHEIT 911 is the counterpunch that we’ve been waiting for and it previewed late last night at the Village East in downtown New York City to a sold-out audience.

Question asked and answered with the use of media footage – the very weapon the Bush Administration used over four, long harrowing years to infuse Fear into the minds of the American public. Moore unravels the Administration’s rhetoric into a simple storyline -- oil profiteering and world domination at the cost of lives

.

As people arrive in droves around the country this weekend to see the long-awaited and much anticipated release of Moore’s film, FARENHEIT 911, the Bush Administration is going to bust wide open and expose a suppurating wound. This movie will serve as a stronghold to break the stranglehold of the Administration’s grip and bring new meaning to “winning the hearts and minds of the people.” I predict that FARENHEIT 911 will go down in history as a turning point in the dawning of the 21st Century in support of Democracy the world over. The price has already been paid.

There is no way that Bush will be reelected. It’s over. Moore vanquishes Evil in one masterful stroke showing History the media neglects. Film as Revolution. He chronicles the story of the Bush Administration’s unjust claim to power, false claim for war, and oil profiteering in pursuit of dominating the world’s energy -- natural resources and its people.

FARENHEIT 911 coaxes filmgoers out of isolation and invites them to think, learn, laugh, cry, shout out, and applaud throughout its viewing. I encourage all people to go and “experience” the sense of community Moore’s film creates. With lives, and an election, at stake, this film brings an audience together in a way I have never seen before. It’s like the television show, SURVIVOR. Only this time it’s real and you’re in it! No wonder FARENHEIT 911 broke all records at the Cannes Film Festival with a 20-minute ovation.

Surprisingly cogent and intelligent, Farenheit 911 is Moore’s answer to the Nightly News. Incorporating familiar media footage, past and present, Moore lets the Bush Administration speak for themselves. They dig their own graves. The Administration bungled their public relations campaign and Moore has been keeping track and has seen straight through it.

The absurd truth becomes crystal clear: The Bush Administration is not working for the American People. “So who are they working for?” you might ask. We learn that the Bush Family has developed deep-rooted relationships with the bin Laden Family over the past 30 years. That the bin Laden Family owns about 67% of America’s economy. That if they pulled their money out of the United States, our economy would collapse. That Bush, Sr., has been doing business in Saudi Arabia ever since leaving Office. One has to wonder if is he goes there on official business on behalf of the American People or on private business on behalf of the Carlyle Group? And then how can the American People expect loyalty from a President with a salary of $400,000 when Osama’s Family gave the Bush Family over $1.4 Billion? Moore doesn’t require a leap of imagination to have his point hit home.

During the 9/11 attacks, we are stunned to watch Bush sit mute in a classroom full of children for nine minutes, an eternity, as people stare in shock, avert their eyes, clasp hands and pray when they witness victims hurling their bodies out of the burning towers to their death. Bush, Sr, Bush, Jr, Donald Rumsfeld, Colin Powell, Paul Wolfowitz, John Ashcroft, and Condoleezza Rice are seen for who they are – criminals.

As this film opens across the country, one can now truly hope that the day will come when the Bush Administration will finally be held accountable.

Moore reflects his own views through his clever choice of music to underscore the irony of events and comedy of errors as his camera catches the light. While working to both create and relieve tension, he successfully uses music as a strategic weapon in the act of authentic communication. Here he speaks directly to us. He oftentimes elicits great bursts of laughter to boggle our minds to think that this Administration thinks it can get away with it’s worldwide War on Terror and pass the U.S. Patriot Act, a thinly disguised War on the American People. The media can hijack our airwaves but not our spirits.

Post 9/11, with the War in Iraq underway, we witness the lack of empathy and concern Bush expresses for lives sacrificed and casualties taken by our soldiers. Moore reminds us that our soldiers grant us their lives to protect our Country but ask, in return, that we only send them into harm’s way when it’s absolutely necessary. It is a sacred calling. Moore asks, finally, “Will the Soldiers ever believe us again?”

Yes, indeed, we are locked in a Battle between Good and Evil, Light and Darkness. Only this time the Evil is not outside our Country. The Bush Administration works feverishly to win the hearts and minds of the people in Iraq while killing innocent civilians. Michael Moore turns the light on the enemy within -- the terrorists Bush warns us about. They are right here dismantling our freedoms and our Democracy from under our noses.

We are living in a time of renewed faith in Democracy. For everyone who goes to see FARENHEIT 911 with skepticism and despair, take heart. You will bear witness to a Second Coming all right -- of renewed spirit -- ready to fight the good fight for Peace on Earth for All.

“Let’s roll!”

Thank you, Michael Moore!
