america love me

“America Love Me” is a collaborative art project that aims to create a situational context for young people born within the last 20 years to reflect and create guide-lined by personal narratives.

How do they respond and position themselves in relation to the changing conditions of contemporary American society? What does it look like to be or not to be an American in America?

This platform wants to function as a channel and vehicle through which the participants will be able to externalize their creative and intellectual abilities, understandings, questions and worries concerning their relationship to self-representation, citizenship, tolerance, cultural background and society in-general.

Having said that, the project’s main characteristics are to be political and open: political because it is expected that each participant will assume a position and point of view; open because the resulting content and shape will depend fundamentally on the contributions of each and every participant.

The project’s intention is to raise question more than find answers.
